Description
Children are most at risk for developing Lyme and other tick diseases due to their frequent outdoor activities. Using an entertaining puppet show, “The Tick Lady” helps empower your child to learn about ticks, tick bites, and how to stay safe. The Hospital Resource Center’s “Help Line” nurse, Rebecca Young, RN, BSN, will also be available to answer questions from parents. The program is presented in cooperation with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Regional Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center, Tick Wise Education, and East End Tick & Mosquito Control.
