Initiatives include:
- Translation and Qualified Medical Interpreter services (includes in person, OPI (over the phone) and VRI (video remote) interpretation services.
- Providing education and resources regarding SDOH impacting healthcare outcomes
- Specializing in LGBTQ* healthcare and providing Comprehensive Primary and Family Medical Care for all ages (including affirming care) at The SBSH Edie Windsor Health Care Center
- Accommodations made for those with impairment, activity limitation, and participation restrictions
- Access to the NYS Patient’s Bill of Rights
- Access to the NYS Parent’s Bill of Rights
