The Ellen Hermanson Foundation Summer Benefit - Back in Black

Proceeds of the fundraiser to benefit the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center
at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and Ellen's Well support programs
The Foundation is proud to honor Tovah Feldshuh, Broadway actress, singer and playwright and John Graham, Executive Director of Hampton Racquet for their extraordinary commitment to the East End. The event will feature entertainment and dancing by The Lynn Blue Band and cuisine prepared by Lan Cao, the owner and executive chef of V Cafe in New York City. Jean Shafiroff, noted philanthropist, is the Gala Chair, along with the Host Committee which includes The Ellen Hermanson Board of Directors, The Executive Director and Friends of the Foundation. Robert Altmann will be the Master of Ceremonies for the live auction.

About the Ellen Hermanson Foundation
The Ellen Hermanson Foundation is a committed to ensure access to state-of-the art breast health care and to empower people affected by cancer. Funds raised at the Back in Black Summer Benefit will underwrite state-of-the-art medical equipment and breast cancer screenings at the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and locations in Hampton Bays and East Hampton, where over 12,000 screenings were performed in 2019. Proceeds also benefit Ellen’s Well, a free psycho-social services program that provides support groups, transportation, bi-lingual/bi-cultural outreach, and emergency medical grants for breast cancer patients. No one is turned away from The Ellen Hermanson Breast Center for lack of insurance or inability to pay.

Ellen's 26th Annual Run
Sunday, August 15th starting at 9am
The 26th Annual Ellen’s Run Hybrid 5K will take place on Sunday, August 15th at the Southampton Intermediate School at 9am. For the in-person race please register at Ellensrun.org now until Saturday, August 14th at noon. There is no race day registration.
For the Virtual 5K run, the dates are August 15th through August 30th. Run or walk 3.1 miles anytime and anywhere. Registration for the virtual race closes on Monday August 30th at 11:59pm.Your gift with Registration for (in-person or virtual) is an Ellen’s Run Performance T-shirt, commemorative bib and finisher’s medal.
