Welcome Back!
It is time to make an appointment for your breast imagining and bone density exams. We have made changes to ensure social distancing while reducing your waiting room time.
Here are our new protocols:
- When you call to make an appointment, you will be scheduled and pre-registered during the same phone call.
- For your safety, valet service has been suspended.
- We have reserved parking directly outside the entrance, designated as a “Pink Zone.”
- Once you park, please remain in your car and call the front desk @ 631-726-8466.
- Our goal is to limit your time in the department.
- We will ask that you provide your mobile number, so we can call you when the technologist is ready for your exam.
- When you enter through the main entrance of the hospital:
You must wear a face mask. If you do not have one, we can happily provide one. - You will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, including having your temperature taken.
Our waiting room has very few seats, and they are spaced 6’ apart. Plexiglass shields have been installed in the reception area for your protection.
Be assured that all Stony Brook Southampton Hospital employees are performing daily temperature checks, wearing face masks, and implementing frequent, thorough hand washing.
Your health is very important to us, and we are taking every precaution to ensure that you are safe.

Es hora de hacer una cita para su examen de seno. Hemos realizado cambios para asegurar el distanciamiento social a la vez que reducimos su tiempo en la sala de espera.
Aquí está nuestro nuevo protocolo de registro de entrada:
- Para su seguridad, el servicio de aparcacoches se ha suspendido.
- Hemos reservado estacionamiento directamente afuera de la entrada, designado como “Pink Zone.”

Nuestra sala de espera tiene muy pocos asientos y están espaciados 6 pies. Estamos en el proceso de instalar protectores de Plexiglass en nuestra área de recepción.
Tenga la seguridad de que todos los empleados del Hospital Stony Brook Southampton realizan controles diarios de temperatura, usan mascarillas e implementan lavados de manos minuciosos y frecuentes.
