Southampton, NY—At its July 12 meeting, Southampton Hospital’s Board of Directors elected Kenneth B. Wright Chair. He succeeds Peter Larsen who was a member of the Board for 15 years and served 10 years as Chair. A Hospital board member since 2004, Mr. Wright was previously Co-Vice Chair of the Board along with Richard J. Hiegel, Esq. and serves on the following committees: Executive, Facilities & Properties, Finance & Budget, and Public Affairs. Born at Southampton Hospital, he is the son of the late Kenneth B. Wright, MD who was Chief of Surgery for a period of time at the Hospital. He is a resident of Southampton and founder of Wright & Company Construction Inc., with offices in Bridgehampton.
