Southampton, NY—Empire BlueCross BlueShield (Empire) and the East End Health Alliance (Alliance) have reached agreement on a new contract that will keep the Alliance hospitals in network for Empire members. The contract settlement provides Empire’s Commercial, Medicare and Child Health Plus members’ continued access to Alliance hospitals.
“As the largest provider of health care services on the North and South Forks of Long Island, the Alliance’s mission is to expand access to quality, comprehensive and affordable health care services,” said Paul J. Connor, III, Managed Care spokesman of East End Health Alliance. “We are pleased to continue our network relationship with Empire to ensure that all of its plan participants have access to quality acute care, outpatient and wellness services on the East End.”
