Southampton, NY—Hamptons Marathon organizers presented Southampton Hospital with a donation of $30,000 representing a portion of the proceeds from their 7th annual marathon and half marathon, which took place in East Hampton on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Hamptons Marathon has been supporting the Hospital since 2008, with annual increases that attest to the event’s growing popularity. In 2014, an inaugural Bridgehampton Half Marathon will be held May 10, with the Hamptons Marathon and Half Marathon to follow on September 27.
