Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Recognizes Pride Month

Southampton, NY—On Wednesday, June 20, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Diversity Leadership Council, led by Chief Administrative Officer Robert Chaloner, raised the rainbow flag outside the Hospital’s main entrance to recognize Pride Month, which is observed and celebrated in June.

“The Hospital is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff who are part of the LGBTQ+ community,” Mr. Chaloner said. “We want everyone to know that they are welcomed and valued at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.”
