Southampton, NY—The Medical Advisory Panel of Southampton Hospital’s Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center sponsored a forum on February 13, bringing together elected officials, representatives of the Suffolk County Health Services Department, and physician-experts to begin discussions on a coordinated approach to addressing Lyme and tick-borne disease on Eastern Long Island.
The Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center at Southampton Hospital educates the public, promotes collaboration in the medical community, and facilitates access to diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases.
