Dr. Erin McGintee, of ENT and Allergy Associates, and on staff at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, will discuss the symptoms and management of seasonal allergies for both adults and children, such as summer’s grass pollen and ragweed “hay fever,” the symptoms of which can also persist into the fall. Dr. McGintee will also discuss the peanut allergy. Alpha-gal, a meat allergy which can be caused by a bite from the lone star tick will also be covered.
