This presentation, by Brittany Kickel, RN, MSN, of the Heart Institute at Stony Brook Medicine in association with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, will focus on what Heart Disease entails, how the risks differ for women and men, common medical comorbidities, and the promotion of the Early Heart Attack Care campaign. This campaign seeks to educate the community to be responsible for themselves, as well as for those around them who may be experiencing early heart attack symptoms.
