Southampton, NY—In response to community requests, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is holding another flu vaccination clinic for adults only (18 years of age and older) on Friday, February 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. The clinic will take place in Parrish Memorial Hall, which is located on the corner of Herrick Road and Lewis Street in Southampton.
No appointment is necessary, but identification is required. Vaccines are subject to availability. This clinic is only for those who did not receive a flu shot in the fall.
The flu was declared prevalent by the New York State Health Commissioner in December. And although it is deep into flu season, doctors still suggest and encourage that those who have not been vaccinated do so, as it is the best way to prevent catching the virus.
